Hey guys! What’s shakin’ huh? We’re going old school so crack out your cigars and best suit for this episode 35 of Sideshow & Tell, your weekly newsie of all things film music, composer and news-related brought to you by Ian Crabb! In this week’s newscast, Ian discusses the latest film and television music releases including first, on vinyl, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, from Geffen Records, West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim, on vinyl, from Razor & Tie Records, and Rocky IV by Vince DiCola, from Intrada Records. Also, on CD, The Other Side of the Door by Joseph Bishara, from Lakeshore Records, from video game music, Fable Legends: The Rosewood by Russell Shaw, thanks to Microsoft Studios Music , and finally, The Crossing by Taro Iwashiro. Ian also brings us the news that composer Fil Eisler is to score the upcoming sci-fi drama, ‘The Titan’ and concludes this week’s SAT with his pick of the week, from the rather awesome folks over at Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm!

Hello Sideshowsters! Happy New Year to you! In the first newscast of the year, your host Ian returns to discuss the latest film and television music releases including Star Wars: The Force Awakens by John Williams, from Walt Disney Records, The 5th Wave by Henry Jackman, from Sony Music Entertainment, Krampus by Douglas Pipes, from Back Lot Music, and finally, from Lakeshore Records, Hannibal Season 3 by Brian Reitzell, and Anomalisa by Carter Burwell. Ian also brings us the news that film composer Hans Zimmer has been hired to score the upcoming action thriller ‘Dunkirk’, by the always incredible Christopher Nolan and finishes this week’s edition of SAT with his first pick of the week of 2016 from a label that’s  dominated this week’s Sideshow & Tell, Lakeshore Records!

Happy New Year and welcome to the inaugural episode of Mouse Music, a podcast celebrating the music and history of the Walt Disney Company. In our first episode we combine two of our great loves, Star Wars and Disney!

We have a blast talking with our friends Richard and Sarah Woloski from Skywalking Through Neverland about the recent Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer and irresponsibly speculating about the new movie.

Also, Wendell chats with Chris Lyndon about his time working at the Disney parks and to debut their new ongoing segment, the Disney Music Archives. Keeping with the space-travel theme, Chris presents us with a comical song from a 1955 episode of the Disneyland anthology series titled “Man and the Moon”, composed by the musical legend George Bruns.

Finally, in celebration of the 28th Anniversary of Star Tours, we start another new segment In the Parks by diving in to the history of the attraction and exploring the incredible music created for it by Richard Bellis and Michael Giacchino.
