If you’re in London, UK, on 22 September 2016 David Arnold’s introducing Independence Day at the Royal Albert Hall (#ID4Live).

The film will be screened as normal but the music part will come from the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra who will be performing its score live, from the stage below the screen 🙂 Nicholas Dodd (the original orchestrator and conductor) is conducting and David’s giving a pre-film talk.

All the sound-effects and dialogue on the film will be there (the film is also screened with subtitles), they just suppress the music track, and the orchestra performs that part live. Can’t wait! http://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/events/2016/independence-day/
