Welcome peeps of the interwebs to the 61st episode of your favourite weekly mini newscast, Sideshow & Tell, where host and producer of the show Ian Crabb brings you all the juicy goings-on from the world of film musiccomposers and movie news! In this week’s live, unscripted and unedited SAT, your host is joined by some bloke called Wend to discuss the latest releases including American Pastoral by Alexandre Desplat, from Lakeshore Records, and a limited edition vinyl release of The Fountain by Clint Mansell, from Mondo Records. The two Englishmen also have a proper chinwag about composer Michael Giacchino replacing Alexandre Desplat on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Finally, Ian delivers the news that composer Johan Johansson is to score the new film by director Darren Aronofsky, and concludes SAT61 with a pick of the week by our very own Sideshow Sound Theatre. Wend announces details of SST’s new Halloween album, They Landed on Halloween, which will be digitally released on Bandcamp on October 24th!
