Happy New Year everyone! We’re back with episode 70 of Sideshow & Tell, the first SAT of 2017, live, unscripted and unedited with Ian Crabb and Will Dodson, your weekly mini newscast where your hosts bring you all the latest info on composers, film music, and movie news! This week the producers of Sideshow start by breaking down their favourite and least favourite films of 2016, then later discuss the latest film and television music releases including A Monster Calls by Fernando Velázquez, from Back Lot Music and Quarter Records, Sherlock Series 4 by David Arnold and Michael Price, from Silva Screen, and finally, The Fly by Howard Shore, by Varèse Sarabande. Ian also brings us the news that composer Marco Beltrami is to score James Mangold’s upcoming ‘Logan’, and delivers his Home Video Pick! The duo finish off SAT70 with their Pick of the Week, from composer Mark Mancina, and the amazing La-La Land Records!

Sideshow & Tell – One Year Anniversary Episode!

Hello the internet! This is episode 52 of Sideshow & Tell, your mini newscast, which marks the show’s one year anniversary! For this special occasion we’re doing something a little different, joining your host Ian Crabb for today’s unscripted SAT is Sideshow godfather Will Dodson!

In this week’s SAT, the duo inform you all of the latest film and television music releases including a special 2-disc extended release of The Rocketeer by James Horner, from Intrada Records, The Huntsman: Winter’s War by James Newton Howard, and X-Men: First Class by Henry Jackman on limited edition vinyl from Music On Vinyl, Suicide Squad by Steven Price, from Sony Classical, Ice Age: Collision Course by John Debney, from Varèse Sarabande, and finally, Supergirl by Blake Neely, from La-La Land Records. Ian also brings us the news that composer Cliff Martinez is scoring James Mangold’s currently untitled Wolverine sequel, and composer Rob Simonsen is to score Marc Webb’s drama, ‘Gifted’. Ian’s pick of the week comes from the wonderful team over at WaterTower Music and to finish up this week’s SAT we let you all in on what exactly has been happening over the last few months at Sideshow HQ and what glorious content is on the way!
