Welcome to episode 51 of Sideshow & Tell, your mini newscast where Ian brings you all the latest on film music, composers and movie news! In this week’s SAT, your host Ian informs you of the latest film and game music releases including Ghostbusters by Theodore Shapiro, from Sony Classical, Viva by Stephen Rennicks, from Lakeshore Records, The Matrix by Don Davis, on vinyl, from Varèse Sarabande, Fallout 4 by Inon Zur, on deluxe vinyl, from Bethesda Softworks, and finally, Me Before You by Craig Armstrong, from Interscope Records. Ian also brings us the news that composer Heitor Pereira is returning to score ‘Despicable Me 3’, composer John Williams was recently honoured with a Saturn Award for his work on Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Junkie XL aka Tom Holkenborg has been announced as the sole composer on the upcoming Warner Brothers DC behemoth ‘Justice League’. To finish up this week’s SAT Ian has a pick of the week for you by composer Michael Giacchino, from the wonderful people over at Varèse Sarabande!

Ian is back after a birthday break, batteries recharged, to present your regular film music news! In this week’s newscast, “the amazing one” discusses the latest film music releases including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows by Steve Jablonsky, by Paramount Music, Warcraft by Ramin Djawadi, from Back Lot Music, a limited gold edition of Star Wars: A New Hope by John Williams, from Sony Classical, and finally, The Angry Birds Movie by Heitor Pereira, from Atlantic Records. Ian also brings us the news that composer Yann Tiersen has scored the documentary ‘Ouragan’, and composer Chris Hajian is to score the Crackle original series ‘StartUp’. Ian finishes this week’s SAT with a pick of the week from Walt Disney Records and the ever-wonderful film composer Thomas Newman!
