Welcome one and all to episode 60 of Sideshow & Tell, your mini newscast where Ian Crabb brings you little ear explosions of film and television music, composers and movie news! In this week’s SAT, your host discusses the latest releases including first, on limited edition vinyl for the 15th anniversary, Band of Brothers by Michael Kamen, and Black Swan by Clint Mansell, from Music On Vinyl, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Matthew Margeson and Mike Higham, and finally, Arrow Season 4 by Blake Neely, from La-La Land Records. Also, Ian delivers the news that composer West Dylan Thordson is to be scoring the latest film by director M. Night Shyamalan, ‘Split’, and Walt Disney Records are to release the soundtrack for Gareth Edwards’ ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story‘ by composer Michael Giacchino. Ian finishes up SAT60 with a pick of the week by composer James Newton Howard from the marvellous record label, WaterTower Music!

After a week’s break, Sideshow & Tell is back to bring you this week’s film music news brought to all you lovely listeners out there by the one they named Ian Crabb! In this week’s newscast, Ian discusses the latest film and television music releases including first, on 2-disc limited edition vinyl, Kung Fu Panda 3 by Hans Zimmer, from Music On Vinyl, John Wick by Tyler Bates, on 2-disc vinyl from Varèse Sarabande and from the same company on vinyl, How To Train Your Dragon by John Powell, Florence Foster Jenkins by Alexandre Desplat, from Decca Records,  and finally, Sky by François-Eudes Chanfrault, from OPUS. Ian also brings us the news that Sony Classical are to release the soundtrack album for the recent UK television series ‘Home Fires’ by composer Samuel Sim, ‘American Pastoral’ is to be scored by composer Alexandre Desplat, and composer James Newton Howard has been tasked to score the upcoming Harry Potter spinoff/prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. To finish this week’s SAT Ian gifts you with his pick of the week from the amazing team over at Lakeshore Records!
