Welcome to episode 42 of Sideshow & Tell, your weekly film music newscast presented by your loyal host Ian Crabb! In this week’s newscast, Ian discusses the latest film and television music releases including first, The Huntsman: Winter’s War by James Newton Howard, from Back Lot Music, Game of Thrones by Ramin Djawadi, on 2-disc vinyl from Varèse Sarabande, Love by Lyle WorkmanConfirmation by Harry Gregson-Williams, and The Family Fang by Carter Burwell, from Lakeshore Records, and finally, from Walt Disney Records, The Jungle Book by John Debney. Ian also brings us the news that composers Tyler Bates and Joel J. Richard are returning to score the upcoming sequel ‘John Wick Chapter 2’, composer James Newton Howard will receive the BMI Icon Award, and composer Patrick Doyle is to score the upcoming period drama ‘A United Kingdom’. Ian closes this week’s SAT with a rather chilling pick of the week on vinyl from Waxwork Records, scored by one of Sideshow’s favourite composers!

Welcome to episode 38 of Sideshow & Tell, your weekly film music news brought to you by amazing host Ian Crabb! In this week’s newscast, Ian discusses the latest film music releases including first, The Return of the Musketeers by Jean-Claude Petit, newly remastered from Quartet Records, The Wild Life by Ramin Djawadi, and Allegiant by Joseph Trapanese, from Universal Music, High-Rise by Clint Mansell, from Silva Screen Records, the Original London Cast Recording of American Psycho by Duncan Sheik, from Concord Records, and finally, for the first time ever, on vinyl, Memoirs of a Geisha by John Williams, from Music On Vinyl. Ian also brings us the news that Hollywood Records will be releasing the score to Captain America: Civil War by Henry Jackman on the same day the movie comes out, and concludes this week’s SAT with his pick of the week from the ever-wonderful team at Music On Vinyl!

In this week’s newscast, Ian discusses the latest film and television music releases including the incredible compilation Doctor Who: Musical Adventure Through Time and Space Vol. 1 1996-2006, from BSX Records and produced by Dominik Hauser, the limited edition vinyl re-release of Ramin Djawadi´s Iron Man score from Silva Screen Records, and the next addition to Walt Disney Records´ Legacy Collection, the magnificent  score to Pocahontas by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz. Ian also brings us breaking news regarding Marco Beltrami´s latest scoring projects including the Ben-Hur remake and Alex Proyas´Gods of Egypt, Michael Price who has just joined forces with David Arnold on the upcoming show Jekyll and Hyde and Nathan Barr´s work on the recent Amazon pilot Casanova. Up next, Ian launches a new feature and yes, you guessed it, it´s amaaazing and to finish off, gives us his pick of the week from Intrada Records!
