Welcome to episode 51 of Sideshow & Tell, your mini newscast where Ian brings you all the latest on film music, composers and movie news! In this week’s SAT, your host Ian informs you of the latest film and game music releases including Ghostbusters by Theodore Shapiro, from Sony Classical, Viva by Stephen Rennicks, from Lakeshore Records, The Matrix by Don Davis, on vinyl, from Varèse Sarabande, Fallout 4 by Inon Zur, on deluxe vinyl, from Bethesda Softworks, and finally, Me Before You by Craig Armstrong, from Interscope Records. Ian also brings us the news that composer Heitor Pereira is returning to score ‘Despicable Me 3’, composer John Williams was recently honoured with a Saturn Award for his work on Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Junkie XL aka Tom Holkenborg has been announced as the sole composer on the upcoming Warner Brothers DC behemoth ‘Justice League’. To finish up this week’s SAT Ian has a pick of the week for you by composer Michael Giacchino, from the wonderful people over at Varèse Sarabande!

Welcome Sideshowsters to episode 45 of SAT, your regular film music newscast presented by Ian Crabb! In this week’s newscast, “the amazing one” discusses the latest film music releases including first, on 2-disc vinyl, Star Wars: The Force Awakens by John Williams, and Alice Through the Looking Glass by Danny Elfman, from Walt Disney Records, source music from The Nice Guys from Lakeshore Records and a 2-disc vinyl from iam8it, and finally, Hollywood in Vienna: The World of James Horner, on Blu-Ray, from Varèse Sarabande. Ian also brings us the news that Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have composed the music for the upcoming heist thriller ‘Hell or High Water’, and composer Michael Giacchino has announced on Twitter that he’s scoring the upcoming Marvel movie ‘Doctor Strange’. Ian finishes this week’s SAT with a very cool 2-disc limited edition pick of the week from the fantastic team over at La-La Land Records!

Hello Sideshowsters! Happy New Year to you! Sideshow & Tell Holiday Special / The Force Awakens

Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone! This week on Sideshow and Tell there will be no reviews, news or release information instead, for our final episode of 2015, we’re having a dinner party to thank each and every one of you that has listened and supported us throughout the year and made this the best year Sideshow has ever had!

We start off this week’s SAT with Will, Andrew Steele and Wend’s thoughts right after seeing Star Wars The Force Awakens for the first time! Next, with the entire Sideshow team hosting this holiday special, each member of the Sideshow family picks their favourite track from a holiday movie and talks about why they love it.

To finish, we all present to you the ULTIMATE pick of the week – The Force Awakens by John Williams! The team give their reactions to the latest film in the Star Wars Saga, discussing the amazing movie and the incredible score by the maestro!

We hope you enjoyed our dinner party and having the whole team on the show! What an incredible year we’ve had! We will be taking a short break over the Christmas period but we will be back in the new year with more goodies than ever as we intend to make 2016 bigger and better than this year!
