In this week’s SAT, your anchorman Ian informs you of the latest film music releases including Independence Day by Thomas Wander and Harald Kloser, from Music On Vinyl, and The Light Between Oceans by Alexandre Desplat, from Lakeshore Records and finally, Rudy by Jerry Goldsmith*, from Varèse Sarabande. Ian also brings us the news that composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer is going to be scoring the BBC America original series/remake, ‘Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency’ and composer Mark Mothersbaugh has been hired to score the upcoming Marvel/Disney behemoth ‘Thor: Ragnarok’. Ian concludes this week’s SAT with his pick of the week by composer Pino Donaggio from Intrada Records!
